South Hill Chamber of Commerce members enjoy an awards dinner at the Exchange. Last week's event also afforded the chamber the opportunity to swear in new officers and directors.

The South Hill Chamber of Commerce held an awards dinner on June 4 to swear in its new officers and directors and recognize outstanding members.

Outgoing President Jeremy Lynch listed some of the chamber’s accomplishments over the last year, such as sponsoring the ice skating rink and hosting its first golf tournament, and reflected on his year as president.

“I’ve learned so much about our community,” Lynch said. “I call it an honor to work alongside such professional and passionate community leaders.”
